By placing an order in person, over the phone, or by email, for Abigail’s Cleaning and Disinfecting Services, customers are bound to the following terms and conditions.
ALL CLEANING SERVICES
- Abigail’s Cleaning and Disinfecting Services reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change.
- The Client must allow the cleaner access to hot water and power.
- Abigail’s Cleaning and Disinfecting Services will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. Customer should give any special instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems.
- Abigail’s Cleaning and Disinfecting Services will provide all cleaning detergents and equipment (vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket, and portable ladder) required to carry out the service.
- Quotes that are made over the phone or via email are a rough estimate of the duration of the cleaning service, which is based on a basic description of the customer’s house. Please note that there may be additional costs dependent on the actual condition of the home.
- All fragile items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are cash, items of sentimental value, art, and antiques.
- In case of a complaint, Abigail’s Cleaning and Disinfecting Services should be notified within 24 hours after completion of work.
PAYMENTS
- Abigail’s Cleaning and Disinfecting Service’s fees must be paid by the client in advance by credit card, cash, Paypal, Venmo, or Cashapp.
- Abigail’s Cleaning and Disinfecting Services reserves the right to suspend cleaning services if payments are missing.
- If payment is not made after 30 days of invoice, then the account will be passed to our collections agency, after which a charge of 15% on top of the initial invoice due, will be added to the debt. You agree as part of this contract to pay this sum which represents our reasonable costs in collecting the unpaid amounts.
CLEANING PRICING/ESTIMATES
Pricing and cleaning estimates are determined either by phone, email, or an in-home visit.
IN-HOME ESTIMATE
In-home estimates allow us to walk through your home with you, assessing the current state, while listening to your concerns and preferences. Together we assess what needs to be done on the first visit and subsequent visits. With an in-home estimate, you get two prices: one for the initial clean, and another for reoccurring service.
